ROBERT McNAB is Cargo's art director.

      He has a post-graduate degree in Art History from the Courtauld Institute of Art and has specialised in the production of documentaries on the visual arts, working  with Kenneth Clark and Robert Hughes. He has written and presented Robert McNab's Art Atlas on BBC Radio 4.

      His profiles for BBC's Arena series include programmes about Robert Crumb, Salvador Dali and Cindy Sherman. More recently he has produced documentaries for Omnibus about Joseph Cornell, Edgar Degas, Walter Sickert and RB Kitaj and a six part series for BBC2 Oil on Canvas.

      In 1998 he wrote and presented the highly acclaimed Landscape of Fear, artunder Nazi occupation in France, which won the Sony Award, for BBC Radio 4.

     His evocative black and white images have been used in all but one Cargo Press editions.
